Every publicly held company must give a full accounting of
its activity, to its shareholders (or investors), on a
yearly basis. This full accounting of the stock company
is held in their annual report. Every shareholder is mailed
a copy of the annual report every year.
You can get a copy of the annual report by calling investor
relations of your favorite company. If you are under 18,
ask a parent to call for you. When you get the annual report,
read it from front to back. You will get a lot of information
about the company you are researching. The annual report
has information about the companies past year, the history
of the company is given, along with its probable future plans.
